Carin Vijfhuizen

Dr. ir. Carin Vijfhuizen is een ontwikkelingssocioloog. Ze werkt als expert capaciteitsopbouw en institutionele ontwikkeling in Afrika, het Midden-Oosten en Europa in de sectoren van onderwijs, landbouw en water (zie www.carinvijfhuizen.com). Naast haar werk schrijft ze boeken op de gebieden van haar expertise. Recente publicaties zijn: Jouw schatkamer (Novumpublishing, 2019); We want to be great (Austin Macauley, 2022) en Worthwhile (Novumpublishing, eind 2022). Ze schrijft gedichten, zingt, wandelt in de natuur en fotografeert. Ze is de moeder van twee kinderen.

Dr. Ir. Carin Vijfhuizen is a rural development sociologist. She works as an expert in capacity building and institutional development in Africa, the Middle East and Europe in the sectors of education, agriculture and water (see www.carinvijfhuizen.com). In addition to her work, she writes books in the areas of her expertise. Her recent publications are: ‘Jouw Schatkamer’ (Novumpublishing, 2019), 'We want to be great' (Austin Macauley, 2022) and 'Worthwhile' (Novumpublishing, end 2022). She writes poems, sings, hikes in nature and takes photographs. She is the mother of two children.
